They are and both are very trainable. I used to show Kuvasz they are a fairly smart dog but NOT easy to train. They tend to put THEIR judgement above yours especially when it comes to protecting you and that can be a problem. I have trained mostly Rottweilers and Boxers.
They are HUGELY forgiving of mistakes.
So, I am a little nervous.
