This is our Lady. She's the 7th pupper we've rescued since our kids were young, and she's the sweetest, gentlest dog I've ever had. She's a Mountain Cur, a breed I had never heard of, and the coloring is not due to age, as she's only 5. We rescued her in February, and she's changed from a very frightened dog who didn't even understand how to "play". She was taken from a home in New Orleans where she lived chained under a front porch her whole life. The rescuers found she had a buckshot pellet in her paw when the took her. She's got some lingering health issues, damage to her heart and kidneys from heartworm, but thankfully she's now getting the love, care, and attention she's never known in her life.Misty » 18 Oct 2021, 11:07 am » wrote: ↑ Show me your dog pics.
This is DeAnna. She loves her Lambchop so much she takes it on her walks.
Here are our last great pair of pups who both had long, happy lives, and we miss them both.
Viper (the Jack Russell) and Savannah (the black lab/hound mix).
