America’s quick wealth began bcuz of slave labor.

How is it any different that the slaves brought here worked plantation farms, while slaves STILL TODAY IN AFRICA are used to dig in that continent's mineral-rich mines, yet those countries are still among the poorest in the world almost 200 years AFTER we ended slavery here?  It kind of proves that American wealth DID NOT rise quickly because of slavery as you stated, if no other country has generated the same kind of wealth that we have, don't you think?
