The whole EV is not well thought out.
It's great if you live in a bog city with a lot of charging stations.
In my town there in 1 charging station (I have never seen anyone at it).
I think there are 1 or 2 in a town about 25 miles west. Other than that, the closest is in Duluth at 65 miles away.
They are not practical for rural America.
Also, what about the military?
Are the tanks going to be electric?
Commercial Airplanes?
I don't think so.
Agreed!
I watched a video last night of the long lines at a charging station in CA. Had to be well over a dozen cars waiting in line to use one of the 15 stations, which take between 30 and 60 minutes to charge each car. I found it amusing that people would not have considered this before plunking down $40,000 or more for their EV. It was reminiscent of the gas lines during the Carter years, only now these dolts brought it on themselves. Just imagine waiting an hour or more just to get to your turn at the station, then waiting there another hour or so until it charges! I've got to believe that the kind of traffic that California is famous for has caused MANY EVs to die while stuck in traffic, making the existing traffic tie-ups far worse.
But I know we'll never see those kind of stories on the news, will we?
