As someone who has far more experience with an employee's work ethic than you, I've always promoted supervisors and management from within my company rather than seek an unknown from outside. It is their work ethic and their ability to make wise decisions combined with an honest effort to solve problems and advance the growth of my companies. I imagine it's tough for someone like you with no work ethic whatsoever to even comprehend there exists such employees! It is only the disinterested union worker who is content to coast their way through a career with a minimal amount of effort. You know, someone like you who believes the world owes you a **** living!
