I don't know anything about your father, Zeet.....but I KNOW he wasn't a Phi Beta Kappa Ivy League graduate...and, prohibitively likely, NOT a combat veteran.
And no, he wasn't an Ivy League graduate, but what he WAS was a great father and loyal husband married to my mother for over 50 years when she passed away, and he remained a great influence to his grandchildren (my kids) until he passed away at 92 after I moved them both into my home for the last 8 years of his life. And he passed on his business acumen to me at an early age, working in his company as I did from the age of 12.
So, how old were YOU when your Ivy League father ran out on your mother and your family by telling you he was going out to buy milk and never returning? Apparently, his Phi Beta Kappa wisdom taught him how much better his life would be if he just dumped his family and returned to chasing ugly white women, huh?
