We have been asked to take a 1.5 year old dog for some owners in need. We just can't. Beautiful well mannered Pit Bull, but quiet.
Seriously man, I know we are all gonna die sometime and the 15 years ahead of me looks quite challenging.
But I admit that may be because I still enjoy a great sex life at 72.
And my wife and I adopted a 4 year old dog we rescued last year who is a real treasure.
The way we've brought her out of her timid, abused shell is wonderful to see and might provide you with a better perspective in your remaining years too.
