‘Lowest Ever Recorded’: CNN Drops ‘Staggering’ Poll Showing ‘Brutal Reality’ of Democrat Disapproval Ratings
Kipp Jones CNN’s Manu Raju shared a poll on Sunday’s Inside Politics he said shows the “brutal reality” of how negatively Americans view Democrats, with the favorable/unfavorable rating at its lowest point since the network began tracking the metric some 30 years ago. Raju opened Sunday’s show with a full breakdown of a CNN/SSRS survey, reporting that it found only 29% of those polled viewed Democrats in a favorable light. Fifty-four percent of those surveyed told CNN they viewed the Democratic Party unfavorably — something Raju called “staggering.” “Americans’ favorable views of the Democratic Party’s brand are at a record low, just 29%,” Raju reported. “It is the lowest ever recorded for Democrats in CNN polling, going back more than 30 years.”

CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten on Wednesday explained how the Democratic Party's chances of retaking the House of Representatives have sharply declined in recent months.During a Wednesday morning segment, Enten took a closer look at the highly-anticipated midterm elections in 2026. In 2024, Republicans secured a sweep of the federal government by winning majorities in the House and Senate in addition to propelling Donald Trump back into the White House. Since then, Democrats have shifted their focus to 2026 with the hopes of taking back some congressional power to prevent Trump from continuing to enact his polarizing agenda.
