An AR15 is a .22.
And is easy to convert from .223/5.56 to .22lr
Letting guys train less expensively.
Plus glock started building a .22lr pistol a couple years ago. The G44.
Same size as the 19 and people are using it to train with instead of 9mm.
That coupled with supply chain/pandemic problems is why.
