And if, as you say, the major problem with American education isn't with what is being taught or the enforcement of mask mandates (that YOU call "idiotic" because SOME don't believe in YOUR right to endanger the health of others) then why the **** are MAGAS MAKING IT AN ISSUE??

And like I wrote earlier in this thread, if you think a master's "ain't ****" in determining a teacher's ability to educate your kids, then kindly keep them home with you and educate them YOURSELF, mr. 99.
I didn't look it up because it would be a waste of time. I am not willing to spend 10-25s to see how standardized tests are implemented today, but I will tell you how I came to my conclusions since you seem to have trouble figuring out my thought process (don't worry, the conservative idiots on this forum have difficulty as well so I won't chastise you for this minor infraction).

I know as a fact some higher ed institutions have done away with SAT scores as an admission factor due to the alleged "racism" of the SAT so I deduced that standardized tests in grade schools have either been watered down even more than when I was in grade school or eliminated in certain school districts altogether. I did not bother confirming as I did not deem the requisite 10-25s to be well spent.

Masks in schools are idiotic because children are at minimal risk from "Covid-19." Please educate yourself instead of lecturing me.

A Masters in Education is a poor barometer of any sort of meaningful accomplishment, I have a friend (somewhat-moderately intelligent, I would guess her IQ is in the 120s) who completed her Masters of Ed and she basically said it was a joke (she barely studied - try "not studying" for EE or Petroleum Engineering or a subject in an actual major and you'll get hosed) and her classes were full of mediocre/dim people.

I remember back in HS, my calc 2 teacher had to take a day off for a specific reason and asked me to teach 1 lesson. I simply followed the instructions she set and everything went smoothly. It wasn't difficult at all.

If you went through K-12 and didn't conclude most teachers are quite mediocre/only went into teaching cuz they are either lazy and want 3 months off or simply weren't cut out for the competitive majors that speaks volumes about your own competency level. I have nothing personal against teachers but the vast majority of them are nothing special.

At the very minimum, you putting teachers on some kind of pedestal is unwarranted and slightly nauseating.
