Quebec receives the highest federal transfer payments .......

What percentage of transfer payments go to Quebec?

In 2018-19, equalization payments will rise to a new high of $19 billion. Sixty-two per cent will go to Quebec, while Alberta taxpayers will contribute about $3 billion.

What does Quebec use equalization payments for?
Because the territories are not provinces. They are territories. Equalization payments are to ensure that provincial governments have sufficient revenues to provide reasonably comparable levels of public services at reasonably comparable levels of taxation. The territories are supported by the federal government.Sep 9, 2023
I DON'T DOUBT WHAT YOU ARE SAYING.
MY ONLY POINT WAS THAT WESTERN CANADA, VANCOUVER, WAS WHERE THE SOCIALIST LABOR PARTY WAS FORMED. IT BECAME A NATIONAL PARTY IN THE 1930'S TORONTO.
