1) SNAP benefits should not be open ended. They should only provide basic staples for sustenance and not **** like Snicker's bars, gas station hot dogs, and Monster energy drinks.
2) A budget is rarely blown on big ticket items. It's nickel and dimed to death on the little stuff. The attitude that "well it's only a couple of bucks more" is what runs people out of money at the end of the month and leaves them unable to pay their bills and/or provide for their families.
3) Borrowing money to pay debt is a fools errand. Borrowing from Peter to pay Paul is just stupid.
