Something is awfully wrong in the US and it's not just all these guns...
I think of the profile of all of these shooters and it's always the same psychological underpinnings
as well as online gatherings based in hate speech.
It's hopelessness, especially for young men - mostly white regarding the mass shootings, but we
should also count the gangs and the crime in many US cities.
We seem to be okay with bad schools and a lack of spending regarding building life skills for better jobs
in too many towns.
And guns are too easy to obtain - fixing that seems easy, however it is not since the Senate and much of the House
is completely controlled by the gun lobby.
So yes, it is a confluence of problems that need to be addressed one by one, and working to address these issues BTW would only help
all of us. But it seems that's just too much to ask for in a divided nation with not enough leadership.
We got to take the money out of politics, you've heard that said too many times over the last 50 years, and yet,
it only gets worse each new election cycle.
The majority of Americans are good people, why can't we change?
Enough!!! That's how most of us feel.
But do not give up! Never give up!
