People have a right of self-defense, whether you like it or not. We have a right to decide if we want to carry the tools appropriate for that defense on our persons. We can and will defend ourselves if some bad guy decides to target us for violence.
That too many people are cowards who refuse to take responsibility for their own security isn't my problem. They are welcome to their own personal choices; they just can't force their cowardice off on me.
