You don’t know the first thing about being an American
U wish. I grew up waterskiing on the San Jacinto River & was a Young Republican in H.S. who voted for Goldwater in a mock election before JFK was assassinated.
And I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science & a Minor in Economics. And 1 Semester at the University of Hawaii in 1968.
I also saw Jimi Hendrix play live at Thomas Square Art Park in Honolulu at night, Richie Havens play at the Waikiki Shell, the Doors & Humble Pie at separate events at the Coliseum & Stokely Carmichael & Spirit at separate events at the University Amphitheater that year. And surfed every beach on Oahu & rode inside 2 tubes at Chun's Reef.
And I saw MANY concerts at Hofheinz Pavilion at the University of Houston including Led Zeppelin in 1969, The Who, Country Joe MacDonald, & The Rolling Stones in 1972.
I worked as a union carpenter for 8 years in Houston, Hawaii & California on many high-rises, like the Galleria Hotel in Houston, & as a commercial construction estimator & project manager for 37 years.
