The reality was, America's massive wealth didn't happen until AFTER 1865 and started around 1880. There were NO SLAVES in the Unites States during that time. But Democrats made sure they oppressed them as much as they could without enslaving them all over again.
The Industrial revolution was the very reason the United States wealth grew at astronomical rates and because of the tremendous natural resources we have still to this day.
