I have read quite a bit of history of black America. It's impossible to have obtained the wealth that we have without slavery or exploitation of blacks after they were freed. The history is so dense with examples after examples, it would be impossible to go over all of it.

A lot is said about their contributions to agricultural commodities when they were on the plantations. That's obviously important. However, there is much else that exploitation of blacks provided. One example, that I found interesting, was the shaping of neighborhoods. Harlem was the first known ghetto. Landlords saw the potential of money to be made off blacks by providing them with **** accommodations. Harlem neighborhoods used to be filled with whites. However, whites were too expensive to please. Landlords weren't making much money off of them. They knew that if they lured blacks into the buildings, then whites would move out. Sure enough, landlords pandered to the blacks. The whites moved out. The difference is that the landlords had no obligation to spend money on their apartments. Which is why they were ****. Landlords made bank while the neighborhoods segregated into black/white. From there, the government saw the potential of the community as a whole benefitting from a socioeconomic standpoint. The rest is history, we still have the ghettos today.
Impressive.

I will look up your recommendation.
