The way I see it, you own White America reparations. Perhaps we need to levy a "Black Tax" to repay us for our ancestors' sacrifices. Don't forget, the South lost the war and many of the Confederates were killed, died off from disease and their families starved to death after the war. So, those white people of today are mostly descendants of those who freed your ancestors.
They were also the one that lost most of their wealth but then stole it back just after the Compromise of 1877.
