There is nothing "new" about the enormous amounts of hydro in the north of england, the enormous amount of oil in their north sea jurisdiction, the enormous amount of power in the tidal surges which surround the island nation, or the nuclear-power generating technology that nation has possessed for decades.

There is NO EXCUSE for britain to face an energy crunch in 2022, with OPEC above 60 years old. None whatsoever. Piss poor government is a reason - not an excuse.
