Individual states rights and states freedoms would rule. And if you're a turnip farmer in Texas and there are no interstate highways and there is no national rail system to transport the crops you need to sell to anyplace outside of the state of Texas, you just...uh...eat lots of turnips and loose your farm to the bankers.

Back in the 1800's when American farmers realized there was no affordable way to get their production to market any more than a few miles from their farms, the farmers, and the rest of the country realized that they needed a federal government to manage, fund, and build a long distance system of roadways and rail lines between all the states of this union. It's when a strong central system became a reality and a necessity. Without a central government and the controls, laws, infrastructure and other systems inherent in it, there's no country. And like it or not, some of your individual states rights and "freedoms" no longer work.
I would love to go back to local and regional production and consumption and put the few corporations, like the 4 big meat packers that control 85% of the US meat processing and therefore the prices they pay and charge, out of business!!! Maybe then Texas could also control the illegal immigration at its border which your "centralized dim-0-crap controlled wasteful federal government" doesn't seem to want to do.
Texas produces lots of produce, meat, petroleum and gas. Then maybe assholes like YOU would starve and/or freeze to death...
