WNBA player Brittney Griner has refused to stand for the national anthem, on the grounds that America is racist against its most privileged identity group. Luckily for Brittney, she now has an opportunity to experience an alternative:
WNBA champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist Brittney Griner has been detained in Russia and could face up to 10 years in prison after customs officers found “vapes” containing hashish oil in her luggage back in February, reports say.
If you are foolish enough to buy into Black Lives Matter ideology, you might be foolish enough to bring narcotics into Russia.
A decade in a Russian prison would be well spent contemplating whether America is really so awful that she can’t stand up for the Star-Spangled Banner. But she won’t do any 10 years. The American government will do whatever it takes to get her released.
