My dad passed away in a nursing home ($8,000/month) in March of 2023 and is still getting a huge pharmaceutical bill from a private company that we never used. I got his most expensive drug (pradaxa) from a Canadian pharmacy. The night before he died (he had a stroke) the nursing home sent him to the hospital ER right across the street by ambulance. a couple I know in TX where he died of pancreatic cancer…she received an unpaid bill of 50+k…she stated he was dead…and never heard from them again…
