China is a superpower, because the only power that matters is economic power, and China is so valuable to the American people that perhaps we should be figuring out a way to gain economic independence from them and their cheap goods and sub contracted electronics. We are much more valuable to China as a friend than we are as an enemy. And much more valuable than Taiwan. They might make the mistake but I doubt it. Not for now. Some time out in the future but not now. That would be a BIG mistake.
So...it's on the American people. Everything is always on the American people. This country is getting the government it deserves, regardless of which party happens to be in the majority this week. We are a society of whores. We are a culture of whores.
