He knew it and he held on to boxes of records which included top secret files and top secret files with special restrictions. And Trump committed obstruction of justice on January 18, 2021, the day that the first 15 boxes of records were removed, when he lied when he told officials of the National Archives and Records Administration that all the records that had been removed from Mar-A-Lago had been returned.
