Well it's got nothing to do with anything else. Because the Russians lost their right to piss, moan, whine or snivel over anything the Ukrainians choose to do with their country since they signed off on the 1991 Ukrainian Autonomy Referendum.
So...you show me anywhere in the 1991 Referendum where the the Ukrainians made a blood oath pinky shake promise in writing to not join NATO.
