.False claim: All patients who die of COVID-19 have serious health problems
A family member, healthy guy, died two weeks ago from complications of a covid infection. In some patients covid causes the body to produce a massive inflammatory response, a cytokine storm, that causes clotting factors in the blood to skyrocket. A clot went to his large bowel, killed a half foot of it, and by the time he started feeling sick, the sepsis was so bad that all his bodily functions were shutting down to the point where they couldn't stop it.
