There was one reason for the XL pipeline. To provide raw material business for floundering half dead big oil refineries in Illinois and Texas. And the products made from this **** tar sands was all going into overseas markets. No thanks, not interested. The Gulf Coast has still not recovered from the Deepwater Horizon spill 22 years ago. Prince William Sound has still not recovered from the Exxon Valdez disaster 33 years ago. Neither will ever fully recover. That's because it's **** impossible to fully clean up an ocean oil spill. There are still large pockets of crude oil all over Prince William Sound. Why did these two spills happen? Arrogance and arrogant incompetence. Crew chiefs and workers on the Deepwater Horizon knew there was a problem down on the bottom, and management refused to do anything about it.
Like so much else proposed by alt-right traitorous conjobs and republican politicians...the XL pipeline was all about politics.
