This country needs to follow the EU model of the governmental social safety net. It's where our tax money should be going. Start by getting rid of 9 of the 11 Aircraft Carrier Strike Groups. We need one for each coast. Then provide appropriate maternity leave like pretty much ever goddamn first world country provides to it's women.
