As regards substance use, there is good evidence they'd have favored significant governmental regulation. Their inclusion of eminent domain laws demonstrates their conviction that society
qua society has rights and powers above those of the individual.
At the time of the founding abortion was not an issue, among the politicians, church leaders, or the people. If the fetus wasn't moving is wasn't a person yet. And fetuses typically don't start noticeably moving around on average until week 18.
Your argument regarding drugs and alcohol related to eminent domain does not hold water. The founders clearly had a personal revulsion of the government dictating a citizen's choices of what they might choose to put into their bodies. Eminent domain isn't about controlling individual choice. It's about land and control of land ownership, not any individual's personal choices. The Harrison Act would have had the founders puking.
