about this, so I will explain it to you. When you are US Military personnel and when you are given an order, if you refuse to follow that order your military career is over. Unless it's in a combat or some other critical situation when not only is your career over but you are tried by court martial and perhaps go to a military prison...or as we called it, the brig.
If you're ordered to "go take that hill" or you're ordered to "go take that vaccination" that's what you do if you want to remain in the military. It's how military life works.
When I went to basic training at the MCRD in San Diego, one of the first things I had to do was go stand in line with the other 83 recruits in my platoon and get my shots. It never occurred to me to say "no", I don't want those.
