That is how. Iran knows that it cannot beat us in a head-to-head fight. Impossible. However, it is being said, by military experts, that Iran has been preparing for war against the US for the past 20 years. They studied our tactics in Afghanistan and Iraq. While we were bombing the **** out of those countries, Iran was sitting back taking notes. They saw our limitations in the Middle East terrain. Instead of spending millions on building fighter jets and fancy machinery, they decided to build a countless stockpile of ballistic missiles, and they built devastating drones that only cost them 10k, as opposed to our million-dollar ones. They don't need to demolish us. They just need to drag out the war long enough until we decide that the cost to continue is no longer worth it. Then we pull out and they win.
They know about our missile defense system and Israel's Iron dome. However, if they send hundreds of ballistics at a time, then eventually at least 3 or 4 will get through. That is enough to take out our radar systems and cause damage to Israel. They also have the ability to cut off the Strait of Hormuz. About 20% of the world oil supply go through there. If Iran cuts that off, then that will inflict serious damage to the global oil supply. So now America will need to answer to the rest of the world as to why the world's gas prices have skyrocketed.
I wonder how much thought our government put into Iran's strategy before we let loose on them. Prepare for another expensive and looooooong war.
They’ll continue to bombard until all military, leadership, nuke, munitions, aircraft and missile launch sites are off the map…the missiles could be an issue depending on where they are and how much military is left to keep mobile…
