The problem today is that manufacturers don't give a crap about quality, the middle guys that package products and sell them to Walmart don't give a crap about anything but profits and packaging the crap to maximize that profit. It costs $14.00 to buy 3 screws that use to sell out of a barrel for a nickle.Zeets2 » 25 Apr 2023, 12:54 pm » wrote: ↑ I've purchased tens of thousands of Chinese made products in two of my businesses and the quality was as good as any that were made here. The major drawback in buying from China is the extensive shipping and customs delays, which can only be overcome by paying extra for air freight, which then wipes out much of the price savings differential. It's also difficult to get quick responses because of the time difference, especially from those of us on the east coast.
