lets start over. all of this seems to be going way over your head. You know all those 'scary' looking rifles that liberals want to ban? and they call them 'assault weapons'? they actually are very rarely used in crime and there are very few homocides per year. The comparison with knives was just for perspective on how very rare 'scary rifle' homicides are. You seem to be hung up on hueys choice for that comparison but i dont know why. He couldve compared scary rifle homocide to lightning strikes i guess.
