Fact was the GOP has been attacking people's right to vote for sometime now, prior to the 2016 election, prior to the 2020 election, and continuing more in earnest now, even as we speak.
The conservative response is that the laws are necessary to address issues of "voter fraud" which in and of itself IS a FRAUDULENT ARGUMENT, created by the right in order to pass discriminatory legislation.
Nor is their attack upon the right to vote their ONLY attack upon civil rights. Because the GOP has also LONG been busy curtailing the rights of CERTAIN others as well.
APPARENTLY, if you don't see the world through their narrow minded conservatively MYOPIC point of view, you don't DESERVE rights.

this attitude you have is based on a lot of unspoken assumptions. First of all...i suppose that any conservative would agree with me that the real issue is that democrats are attempting to make fraudulent votes eaiser. they literally want illegals to vote and have representation on congress. Pushing back against such an agenda is not 'attacking voting rights'...it is literally just an attempt to make us citizenship matter. You only assume that this cannot be the real story cause you assume dems are the good guys...its programming. You have been brainwashed.
Second...you are assuming voting matters. This is not the case. Consider, for example, Iron dome funding passed by 420+ vs 9. Your champion AOC didnt even vote against it. US funding a foreign military is never going to be challenged no matter who you vote for. We are only allowed to argue about trivial stuff and the real goal of voting is for it to be as close as possible to 50/50 so that fools continue to think a real debate is happening and their vote matters.
Meanwhile it is cute that you are tying this to civil rights...because you are also brainwashed into believing that only 'minorities' (soon to be the majority) can possibly be oppressed. But there is zero racial discrimination in the letter of any law in the USA, except against white people. Affirmative action is explicitly anti white.
