The fundamental problem is not even about money. In fact, that is the issue with the usa. People care so much about money simply because there really isnt anything else to care about.
We have been disconnected from history too long. It has made us shallow. Our one great myth of history was our 'contribution' in the 'defeat' of 'hitler'. But germany never even invaded our lands. We built an empire in a relatively bloodless way...mainly by jist being far away from any action...and this sort of history has ruined our perspective and our political vision.
Really, Americans ought to feel envy for these cargo cult Africans. They are poor, malnourished, and stupid. But they have a dream that someday an airplane might land on their fake runway. At least they have a dream. No American could imagine having any dream.
