I would gladly grant his premise. I would never date a Trans because I consider them disgusting. i guess that makesme trans'phobic' (except it isn't fear, it is disgust)
But is anything wrong with that? I don't think so. I think anyone who doesn't find Trans people disgusting has mental issues. We should make a word for that. 'Transphagia' or something.
