I came across this song and I remember how much I used to hate songs by this guy... I choose Jantje Smit as my name but Andre Hazes was a close second... you never heard off him in america but he is... was.. very famous over here... he died some years ago but his son in his following in his footsteps.. his songs are so depressing and tear jerking... it's in Dutch but no need for a translation.. just listen to that and look at the public... the title would be... a little bit in love...

Anyway, this is also a childhood trauma.. I remember one night.. I was about twelve/thirteen then... we were living in a flat and the people above were having a party... all night long... and they played this song over and over again.. it was impossible to sleep because of the noise... and the floors/ceilings in that flat consisted of almost a foot of reinforced concrete...
