The thing about aliens is that they are.. alien.. you can't ascribe human motives to them, who knows why they visit us or what they want, maybe we are just part of an alien entertainment show, good for laughs and ratings.. or maybe they experience time differently, hundreds of years for us could be only months for them and they will contact us "soon" when we have evolved enough.. I think they are real, all those people who say they have seen them, all those videos, goverment coverups.. sure, some of them are fake, but all of them, for decades, that's a bit too much for a hoax.. as the meme goes..
