it needs to be return back to its original intent based solely on population shifts ignoring race and political affiliations…
THIS might be a GREAT time to negotiate and pass EXACTLY what you are talking about... IF a state is 50/50 Dem/Rep... than SPLIT the available seats (or as close as possible)... and if the elections indicate some percentage in between... the split the Representatives by PARTY (Rep/Dem/Ind) as appropriate...
BUT, I doubt it if the Democrats would do that... Because MOST of the North Eastern states have been Gerrymandering for DECADES... and even though the affiliations are close to 50/50.. THEY have been giving the seats to LIBERALS, for DECADES...
So, TRUTH be TOLD... they might be WORSE OFF if America does it THAT way... but a testament to the CORRUPTION of Democrats NONE the less !!
