Where did I say it was (or should be) absolute.  There are laws that must be followed.  However, the owners of the public schools have every right to demand quality teachers and administrators be hired and have the right to say what is taught (within the confines of the law).  If some don't like their decisions, they simply have to gather enough votes to overrule them...or start their own schools.

Liberals (in general) need to grow up and understand the people who own an organization have a right to exercise control.
