Racism is compulsory segregation, Jim Crow laws, preferential treatment of White people over Black people and every one else not accepted as "white'.
Trump does not have any real reason to mention that McConnell's wife is Chinese. He brings this into his rant because Trump knows that his racist followers will eat it up. Just as dumbduck consistently claims that this or that person is a chink or Chinese.
What most people...primarily liberals, but not exclusively...refer to as racism is really just "rudism".
Again...just because someone says something a liberal doesn't like doesn't mean the comment was a racist comment.
