I'm not, in any way, saying there isn't waste in spending...be in military or any other area. However, the current fiscal year budget for defense is $797 billion. - Why not cut some of the high leadership in the Pentagon? Too many leaders lead to a top-heavy bureaucracy, which leads to inefficiency.
- Cut spending on new weapons. We have incredible technology and machinery now. New tech is unnecessary.
- There is a lot of existing waste in the military, such as overpriced parts, overpriced weapons that don't even work, and inefficient allotment of the funds.
