Again, that was the past job when I was an Economist with the state. The current gig has a lot of nonwhites but that is due to its location, Churchill County Nevada. The more qualified candidates want to live in Reno, Las Vegas, Boise, Sacramento... and not a town of 8,300 that is the rare farm town in NV. The salary is OK but the commute from Reno to here is roughly 70 miles of nothingness. I moved there to get land. House on 5 acres for $310K. If I was to purchase a similar setup in Reno.. it costs $1.2 million at least.
