Walz served 24 years in the military and attain the high rank of command sergeant major for the battalion. Not a lot of people get the rank of command sergeant major for the battalion. Very Few. This is the position where if "the **** hit the fan" ... he is the guy you turn to ... both enlisted and officers. He is your go to guy .... the guy that "no-matter-what" has the answers.
