Nobody aspires to be a Russian Studies Major.
Only kids who are flunking out of Majors that require aptitude in math and with grasping other abstract, science based disciplines switch over to easy-peasy majors like Russian Studies and 6th Century Irish Poetry to salvage what's left of a failed collegiate career.
