In the 1990s when [[[NAFTA]]] was being pushed by the Tiny Hats I saw a documentary that showed what life was like for Mexican Nurses that worked in a hospital. I remember asking some Mexicans about Mexico, because I’ve never been there. Will have to see for myself someday…and they all said it was great, amazing, etc. etc.
I thought: If it was so great why did you LEAVE?
Around this time [[[60 Minutes]]] showed a booming business in Mexico...companies that specialized in modifying SUVs to be bullet proof and hi jack proof. The claim was something like 50 kidnappings [IIRC] of the wealthy happened in Mexico every day. The wealthiest Mexicans had drivers that graduated from special driving schools.
