I made it, and CP keeps changes his avatar.so he's rather upset.
We don't even pick up a signal here. We do have a cheap flip to carry for icy roads.
I still keep my landlines. Because they always work even if the power goes out.
The big fat cables might have 100 pairs of wires in them..basically a pair of wires for every house on that run.
They are protected by the powerlines when a tree falls...... the powerlines take the brunt of the force and snap.
In the 30 years time I have lived in the woods...my landline phone lost it's connection just once.
