The State Department explicitly said the Trump administration is implementing his “vision” to reopen and develop Venezuela’s oil industry and issued licenses for U.S. companies to market Venezuelan oil.
"Venezuela stole American oil… billions and billions of dollars.”
Trump said Maduro’s regime seized and sold American oil and assets, calling it one of the largest thefts of U.S. property in history.
As you can see, we are not concerned about oil right now.
