The reality is simple.........every country that relies on global trade, meaning basically all of them, has a massive economic interest in keeping the Strait of Hormuz open. Japan, China, South Korea, Europe… they’re not ‘helping America,’ they’re helping themselves.
If your economy depends on oil flowing through a narrow waterway that Iran keeps threatening, you don’t sit back and say ‘Nah, let the U.S. handle it.’ You show up.
