They don't know the volume of ice in the antarctic. Its a huge, entire continent. One that is bitterly cold. It's not like a lot of scientists flock there all the time to scour the entire surface of that continent and take ice readings.

For comparison, the latest weather at Gale Crater, Mars was: High -11°F, Low: -114°F
Liberals and progressives don't travel there. Too busy searching for Penguins in the Arctic.
